      This place offers a large selection of wigs and hair alternatives to women, men and children with cancer. It also provides special undergarments for mastectomy patients. The salon is staffed with professionals who take the time to listen to your needs and then outline your many options, from natural and synthetic wigs to hats and scarves.

      Caregivers can learn more about patients’ health condition and look up information on the computers and in the printed materials in the Patient and Family library. Caregivers can also read or borrow a book, video, DVD, audiobook or CD, and use computers or borrow an iPad.

      Musical performances are held in the main floor Atrium every Wednesday from noon to 1:00 pm. Enjoy Jazz for the Soul concerts at the Max Tanenbaum Garden in the summer.

      The Max Tanenbaum Garden is a special place where caregivers can go to sit outside and relax. The Max Tanenbaum Healing Garden is a lounge space for caregivers to relax and look out at the glass garden. It is located at the 14th floor.

      ELLICSR is a good place to go to find information, meet other survivors, take a class, participate in survivorship research and much more. Caregivers can borrow books and DVDs from the resource centre, watch a cooking demonstration in the kitchen or get moving in the gym.

    • Magic Castle (daycare)- Temporarily Closed Due to COVID-19 URL

      The Magic Castle is a free child-care service for children up to 12 years old. It takes care of children so that patients or caregivers can go to appointments or visit someone at Princess Margaret. The Magic Castle also welcomes children who are patients themselves.
